DVS specialise in providing marketing and distribution solutions to publishers and
related industries and have many “blue chip” customers whom regularly use our unique
and varied services.
The three major elements of our business are Homelink, which is designed for the
newspaper and magazine publications that have a cover price. The second element
is DVS’s unique semi-automated distribution checking service that nearly 50% of
the free newspaper publishers have signed up to. The third element is a data collection
and sales service.
Our call centre, which boasts state of the art technology in both telephony and
computer systems is based in St. Leonards on Sea which is on the coast of East Sussex
overlooking Beachy Head and the management team has many years experience in the
publishing and newspaper industry and therefore are extremely empathetic to our
customers needs and concerns.
We also have had a long term working relationship with the National Federation of
Retail Newsagents and manage their call centre “NFRN CONNECT” which provides an
advice line manned by experienced operatives with good trade knowledge, providing
some 20,000 members with sound advice on many different subjects that affect the
retail news trade.
We are used to working to tight deadlines and our customers know that if they have
a “one-off” problem which means perhaps contacting their customers quickly and efficiently,
they can usually call on us and we will help if we possibly can. At present we cannot
remember a customer being refused this option. However, we will not promise that
which we cannot deliver.
